Rob brings two decades of entrepreneurial and founding leadership experience from building numerous successful venture and IPO-funded startups in eCommerce technology. Most recently, Rob was the President of BlackLocus, a SaaS software company providing competitive price intelligence to large retailers and which was acquired by The Home Depot in late 2012. Prior to BlackLocus, Rob was the EVP & GM of TrueCar (Nasdaq: TRUE), the leading negotiation-free car buying and selling platform, where Rob built the consumer direct business from the ground up. TrueCar completed its IPO in mid-2014.
Rob is our company builder – architecting the team, customer acquisition, and relationships, raising capital, and ensuring we are focused and delivering on the highest value capabilities for our customers.
Rob is an avid road cyclist, seeking out high mountain passes worldwide. Most importantly, Rob is Renee’s husband and Jack and Grant’s dad.
Michael Miller is a market penetration expert with demonstrated success driving growth and building market share in highly complex and competitive business climates. He has spent two decades in strategic business development roles at leading tech companies large and small, including more than 10 years in multiple positions at Dell. Michael will expand Convey’s market reach and scope through strategic partnerships with carriers, consultancies and the broader supply chain ecosystem.
Olivier has over 15 years of proven track record in turning software developers into high performance teams, successfully running revenue-generating SaaS software, and delivering cutting-edge products on time and with high quality. Prior to Convey, Olivier worked at Vast as VP of Engineering where he led engineering, operations and security across all geographies and all product lines. Before Vast, Olivier held technical leadership roles at IBM, Lombardi (acquired by IBM) and Intalio.
Olivier is responsible for building the team, technology and infrastructure to deliver Convey’s vision and value to our customers.
Outside of work Olivier stays busy bringing up his four children with his wonderful wife Nicole, following Formula 1 and world politics and staying in shape.
Todd has over 20 years of enterprise sales and business development experience, including partnering with some of the most respected retailers in the world to launch critical supply chain solutions. Prior to Convey, Todd was the VP of Sales at Dsco (now a CommerceHub company) leading its entry into the enterprise market and instrumental in growing the company from 5 employees to over 50.
As VP of Sales for Convey, Todd leads a very experienced team of sales directors and solution consultants in solving last mile visibility challenges for eCommerce retailers.
When not working, Todd spends his time with his two children, playing hockey or enjoying outdoor pursuits.
Dan brings a decade of experience in successfully growing manufacturing and logistics companies. Most recently, Dan founded Convey with the experience and knowledge gained from years in procurement, pricing and supply chain. Prior, he co-founded a residential concrete company using lean processes that saw rapid growth and expansion in its first year.
As our industry liaison and head of Customer Success, Dan builds strong relationships and delivers an exceptional experience to every customer from day one of onboarding.
Dan enjoys new experiences usually involving his wife Jenny, craft beer, artisanal coffee and BBQ meats.
With a degree in Fine Arts from Kansas State University, over ten years of experience working in creative ad agencies, and experience owning and operating a boutique agency, Jenny has done everything from interactive design to strategic marketing to product building.
As a co-founder of Convey, Jenny became an alumna of Techstars in 2014. Since day one, she has a track record for using her product and design skills to deliver a top-notch customer experience, defining product vision and strategy for the company.
It’s no surprise that Jenny’s setting the world on fire has given her a love of fireworks, campfires, candles, and BBQs. You can also find her paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake and going on adventures with her husband, Dan.
Tom Meusel brings more than two decades of building and growing the business development function for enterprise software companies, leading three companies to IPO and three others to successful acquisitions. Tom is especially strong at defining and executing the indirect and Partner sales models as strategic drivers for global expansion
and growth. He did this most recently for Everbridge Inc.
At Convey, Tom is responsible for defining and executing the indirect sales model that will drive new revenue streams globally through strategic partnerships.
When not working Tom enjoys being outdoors with his wife, Kim, and their three grown kids playing sports as well as hiking, kayaking, and occasionally relaxing.
Chad is the Vice President of Engineering at Convey. As a member of the technical leadership team Chad defines strategy and development of Convey’s technology products. His area of expertise includes process change and team development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Chad enjoys spending time with his family, taking hikes around neighborhood trails and when times allows getting on the lake or golf course.
After graduating from The University of Arizona, Carson began his career in the freight industry working for a large brokerage, owning various managerial and special project roles. Most recently, Carson has managed RFPs and consulted for the largest 3PL companies in the industry, gaining valuable insights into pricing and carrier dynamics. As a member of the CSCMP and NMFTA, Carson used the opportunity to strengthen his experience and carrier relationships to influence the freight industry.
Carson is one of our co-founders and head of strategic partnerships. He leverages his experience to build out “better together” relationships within the industry crossing carriers, software vendors, and logistics and fulfillment providers across the ecosytem.
When Carson’s not at Convey, you can probably find him and his wife, Caitlin, playing with their corgi pups Moose & Murphy. He also enjoys outdoor sports and traveling the world when he’s not working as a “truckologist.”
Kassidy brings a decade of experience successfully scaling SaaS businesses and improving shopping experiences worldwide in partnership with the industry’s leading online retailers.
With a passion for entrepreneurship and a penchant for all things marketing, Kassidy leads our Marketing and Business Development teams – driving demand and establishing Convey as the leader in Delivery Experience Management.
When not evangelizing Convey’s mission, Kassidy enjoys chasing her two young sons around while they get dirty and explore everything Austin has to offer.
