Austin, TEXAS June 25, 2018 Conveytoday announced it has been named to the SDCE 100, the Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine annual list of great supply chain projects, for its work with online retailer UncommonGoods.

This is the second consecutive year Convey has been named to the SDCE 100, which spotlights successful and innovative projects that deliver bottom-line value to enterprises across the range of supply chain functions. Last year the company was recognized for its work with online home improvement retailer Build.com.

“First and foremost, we want to congratulate the winners of this year’s Top 100 for their successful and innovative projects, which serve as models to companies of all sizes what is achievable in their supply chains,” says John Yuva, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Regardless of company size, these projects are best-in-class examples of the types of efficiencies and bottom-line results that supply chain executives should be striving toward in their own operations. Our 2018 winners provide a roadmap for how to get there.”

Convey’s work with UncommonGoods was recognized for providing a customer experience with full visibility into real-time package delivery status, especially around spikes in holiday orders.

“We’re extremely proud of the work we do to help retailers like UncommonGoods meet or exceed expectations, and keep their customer promises,” -Dan Bebout, VP of Customer Success at Convey

For Father’s Day 2017, the UncommonGoods team used Convey data to proactively identify shipments that would miss their promised delivery date – days ahead of the actual Father’s Day deadline. This gave them the time and information necessary to expedite new shipments guaranteed to meet their destination by that Sunday. Convey also helped the company optimize its customer service rep onboarding process by reducing system complexity, enabling them to use a single system with standardized exceptions across multiple carrier websites and languages.

“We’re extremely proud of the work we do to help retailers like UncommonGoods meet or exceed expectations, and keep their customer promises,” said Dan Bebout, co-founder and vice president of customer success at Convey. “Being named to the SDCE 100 is an honor, and validates the importance of providing a positive last-mile delivery experience in developing a loyal and lasting customer relationship.”
