FRAMINGHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–International Data Corporation (IDC) today published an IDC Innovators report focusing on four technology vendors that have built tools to address geospatial traceability and analytics within the supply chain. The four vendors named as IDC Innovators are: ClearMetal, Convey, GrandCanals, and Roambee.
“The increased focus on the supply chain as a critical customer satisfaction lynchpin has led to more interest in traceability within the supply chain,” said Victoria Brown, research manager, Global Supply Chain Execution. “No longer is understanding the shipment number and planned delivery window acceptable. Customers expect to know exactly where their goods are, and manufacturers aim to optimize their production processes and inventory, and mitigate risk and down time.”
