The Role

The Market Development Representative will be a key player in enabling the sales team to achieve market engagement. Convey is working with the world’s most innovative brands in retail and beyond to revolutionize supply chain management. In addition to supporting multiple Sales Directors with strategic and personalized outreach, the Market Development Representative will be responsible for pre-qualifying early stage opportunities, coordinating initial discovery calls, and will work closely with the broader team to develop targeted campaigns. The successful candidate will have enterprise SaaS sales experience and a history of executing thoughtful and personalized outreach to top executives at large enterprises. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, creative and have a desire to grow professionally.


  • 2-3 years prior experience in a market development role with an enterprise SaaS software company
  • Demonstrated success record of exceeding quarterly qualified lead and meeting goals
  • Experience outreaching to top executives on the business side (not IT) of enterprise companies including Director, VP and C level roles
  • Experience with crafting outreach for and communicating value proposition for complex enterprise software
  • An overall passion for bringing innovative technologies to market and unrelenting determination to reach top targets and overcome sales objectives
  • Experience scaling a thoughtful, personalized outreach cadence
  • Creativity and a willingness to reinvent approach to the role and processes to achieve breakthrough success
  • Experience with and other tools related to running outreach campaigns
  • Some experience in retail preferred
  • Undergraduate degree required
