What’s in a Name? Our Evolution from Pivot Freight to Convey

Today we are excited to announce that we have changed our name from Pivot Freight to Convey. For the past two years, the Pivot Freight team has been working tirelessly towards our mission of enabling retailers to get products to customers faster through extraordinary delivery communication and optimized shipment execution. As we built out our platform, we soon came to feel like the true value we were working so hard to drive was not adequately reflected in the name we had started with at Techstars.

Today our Intelligent Fulfillment Platform provides retailers with an enterprise-grade, next-generation fulfillment solution to help predict and adapt to changes in real-time, all while proactively communicating changes to customers. Our clients are seeing tremendous benefit in the shape of improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, while still saving money on the logistical and operational costs related to poor delivery experiences.

So why Convey?

Convey has dual meaning. On one hand, to convey is to physically take something from point A to point B. On the other hand, it also means to communicate and to make an impression known to another person. We do both of these in multiple ways for our clients. We help facilitate the transportation of products to customers. We communicate the status of these shipments to shoppers and report back on the carrier performance to our clients. We also strive to make customers feel like a brand cares about them through the personalized delivery experience they receive. At Convey, we believe in building solutions that make the shopping experience as easy and effortless as possible while also making the lives of our clients a little bit simpler.
